Pizza Camp 2018: The Final Slice

Keynote Speaker: U.S. Pizza Museum Founder & Director, Kendall Bruns

Presented by the MPLS Pizza Club, Pizza Camp is an all-inclusive immersive pizza party of a lifetime. Registration includes programming, lodging in rustic cabins, 3 meals, snacks, drinks, and a Pizza Camp swag package including a T-shirt, tote Bag, apron, and more. Each ticket includes canoeing, archery, and all camp activities.

An installation including items from the U.S. Pizza Museum collection will be on display at Paulie Gee’s Logan Square beginning November 11, 2016. The exhibit will be focused on pizza pop culture accented by items highlighting local and national pizzerias.

The exhibit will be celebrated with an opening pizza party on Friday, November 11 with samples of free pizza from Coalfire, Dolce Italian, Paulie Gee’s Logan Square, Piece Pizzeria & BreweryRoberts Pizza Company, Roots PizzaThe Stop Along and other local pizzerias from 6–8pm, while supplies last.

Join U.S. Pizza Museum Founder, Kendall Bruns for a conversation with Dave Bonomi (Coalfire), Derrick Tung (Paulie Gee’s Logan Square), John Munao and Jerry Petrow (Burt’s Place), and Jon Porter (Chicago Pizza Tours) for stories on the lineage and state of Chicago pizza today.


U.S. Pizza Museum Installation at The Whistler

The U.S. Pizza Museum displays items from its permanent collection in an installation in The Whistler Storefront Gallery in Logan Square from July 18–September 18, 2016. The exhibit focuses on pizza pop culture accented by items representing Logan Square pizzerias.

An opening party on Wednesday, July 20 at 6pm launches the show, with free pizza from Father & Son Restaurant, while supplies last. Chicago rapper and pizza enthusiast, ShowYouSuck, will perform followed by DJ Charlie Coffeen of the band Sidewalk Chalk from 9:30pm–1am.


The Nerdologues Presents: Your Stories “A Slice of Life”

The Nerdologues are partnering with the U.S. Pizza Museum to present a live show stuffed full of delicious pizza stories, comedy bits, songs, and more. All that pizza talk will probably work up an appetite that you’ll be able to satisfy by buying some Dimo’s Pizza slices or an entire pie to enjoy while you listen to the free show.
