Mary and Vincent Grittani opened a small tavern on 31st Street in Chicago, Illinois in 1923. In the 1940s they added pizza to the menu and in the 1950s they began to sell frozen pizzas.
I live in Ft Lauderdale and often fill my freezer with Home Run Inn pizzas when they are BOGO at the grocery stores. We get the best pizza, weather and get to see da CUBS once a year. I buy the all meat and my wife doctors them with lots of veggies. Only thing missing is the Old Style!!!

Sounds like you’re living the dream. I was just in Ft. Lauderdale and very much enjoyed my visit to the Mai-Kai. What’s your favorite Ft. Lauderdale pizza?
