Pizzeria Uno’s 75th Anniversary

Born in 1943 at Pizzeria Uno, Deep Dish pizza is turning 75 this year! Enjoy a slice of history and hear the stories behind the development of one of Chicago’s most unique foods. There will be free pizza courtesy of Pizzeria Uno & Pizzeria Due, while supplies last.

U.S. Pizza Museum Founder and Director, Kendall Bruns will give a presentation on the history of Pizzeria Uno followed by a panel discussion with people who have worked at Pizzeria Uno, including: Martha “Marty” Capron, Sergio Cordova, April Gavin, Howard McHale, and Lupe Soto.
